Ed did a great job helping with our home purchase, going so far as to cut short a vacation to meet us at the home the same day we called him. We also used Ed to sell our condo. His hard work, persistence and expertise got the job done again. He held MANY open houses and recommended updates to our condo which produced immediate results. Ed does his homework and knows his market. I had a difficult loan process. Don't ever use Bank of America. He hung in there with me until we got it closed with another lender lower cost in 15 days. Great support.

I cannot say enough positive things about Ed. He was our buyer's agent over a year ago when we purchased a SFH. He listed our snowbird condo earlier this year. We first met Ed at an open house of his and immediately appreciated his honest, matter-of-fact demeanor. We weren't seriously in the house market, though we planned to buy one within the next year or so. One day, several months after that open house, a house we LOVED popped up on the market. We were fortunate enough to have Ed list our condo on Anna Maria Island. It was a very tricky transaction with a number of complicated roadblocks. Fortunately, he was both the agent for the buyer and the seller. Without his expertise, I don't think the deal would have gotten done.

We would give 10 stars if we could!!! If you want to work with a Realtor in Florida who will go Above and Beyond for you and has Great Negotiation skills, then contact Ed Taaffe. We were referred to Ed three months ago as out-of-state buyers who wanted to purchase a vacation home in Florida. Ed immediately contacted us and obtained all of our search criteria. He then began sending us properties to review by email that matched the criteria and gave us plenty of time to respond to him on what we liked. We planned a weekend trip to Florida and scheduled 9 property showings. It was like Ed already knew what we would like and he found us a great property on the water that exceeded every expectation we had. There ended up being multiple offers on the property so Ed suggested that we use an escalation addendum along with the contract. The seller ended up selecting our offer due to the escalation clause. Ed's keen negotiation skills and real estate knowledge made all the difference in us getting the dream vacation we wanted.

Choosing to list our home with Ed Taaffe, Realtor for Wagner Realty was one of the best decisions we have ever made. He is a true professional and provided us with the guidance we needed to stage our home properly. He even helped with painting the interior and exterior of our home and installing colorful landscape plants to provide our home with the curb appeal it needed to get noticed. Recently, I had the privilege of working with Ed Taaffe of Wagner Realty. My wife and I were visiting AMI and as my career has always involved Real Estate, my curiosity got the best of me. We called Ed for an appointment and explained that our call was mostly from curiosity and in all likelihood, we were not serious buyers, at least on this trip; but we would appreciate an hour or so of his time to understand the market that is AMI. Ed graciously agreed to meet and during that meeting, he asked many questions and suggested that we look at a few areas in and around AMI that he thought might be of interest to us, all the while with the understanding that we weren't serious buyers. We met a few days later and subsequently purchased a condo in the Perico Bay Club. From contract to close, Ed was extremely proactive, dealing with contract issues, anticipating our concerns, and always as our advocate, not just to make a sale, but to protect the interest of his client. He helped us with the property inspections, explained the required insurance coverages, and guided us through the ways of our new HOA. From our first appointment to the day of closing was approximately 23 days, due almost exclusively to the attentive efforts and professionalism of Ed Taaffe. Ed was a life saver!!! We were looking for a home near IMG In Bradenton, Florida and he was the only Realtor that returned our email by actually calling us to introduce himself. He went right to work personally touring properties for us since we were out of state. He found us a great place within 48 hours right at IMG's back gate. My son will be able to walk to his training! The Service Industry has surely changed. Ed has it all figured out. We met him by chance last Winter while looking for a condo near Bradenton Beach. He was one of many encounters as we have shopped all over the Island. Everyone says, they will follow up or send you information but he's the only one who did. Casually checking in periodically while sending us everything within our specifications the whole time, till I was ready & knew Exactly what I wanted. Even then, Ed had listened to us. I had my mind set on 1 property. He said but 1st, while we are here, take a look at this one. He was right. It was everything we wanted, furnished for 100,000.00 less. After making our offer we were relaxing on the beach with a cocktail. The phone rang. There was another offer on the table & 1 more document to seal the deal. Anyone else would have had us drive back to the office, email, scan or DocuSign. Not Ed. He drove to us. Then in under 24 hours we knew we won the bid on our new retirement condo. We enlisted Ed to find us a Condo unit to purchase on Anna Maria Island within very specific parameters. Ed was able to locate the property for us in less than 3 weeks and help us prepare a creative offer that the seller accepted. Because of Ed's knowledge and diligence, we are acquiring the property for a very fair price. Since we are buying remotely, Ed has been our eyes and ears. He has completed walk through live videos, coordinated inspections, managed furnishing removals, and many other services that normally would have been handled by us.
